Chapter 1.3: Lost In Translation

Last Time: Celeste found a job as an interior designer (Architect career) and meet Carl, a potential legacy mate.  But did he slip though her hands?

The answer is yes, Celeste will never see Carl again.  After tiresomely looking in the Simpages for Carl McMurphy she never found him listed.  He had now completely disappeared from her life.
(He also seriously disappeared from my game, not kidding.)

But before Celeste had the chance to morn Carl, little did she know a new man was just about to come knocking at her door.

His name was Rich Richmond.  He was the client that the club manager was telling Celeste about.  He never mentioned how handsome and fit he was.  She did not hesitate one bit in inviting him inside.

Rich started to explain why he was so interested in her work and asked if she could work on his lounge room that needs to be revamped.

Celeste excepted Rich's job offer and the two began discussing ideas for the room.

Celeste discovered that Rich loved art, which increased her interest in him.

Little did Celeste know that Rich was not just interested in her design skills.  He was also interested in her.  He had noticed her around town and just had to meet her.

After discussing Celeste's red walls and cream carpet Celeste asked Rich more about himself.  He told her he was in business and was currently living with two females: his girlfriend and her friend.  GIRLFRIEND.

Celeste pretended to like what she heard, but she didn't.

She carried on with hr conversation with Rich, holding in her feelings, even though she wanted to desperately let them out.

Celeste and Rich had talked for so long that they felt comfortable fair welling each other with a hug.  Celeste was all smiles.  She couldn't wait to see him again.

After her interesting day Celeste couldn't wait to tell her new best friend Karen all about Rich and how much she liked him but there was the small problem of his girlfriend.

While waiting to met Celeste saw Karen with her roommate Kerry, flirting.  Turns out Karen is a lesbian. Good for her, Celeste thought, it didn't bother her one bit.

Now on to the important stuff---Celeste's new love interest.  She told Karen she fancied someone.

When Karen started to ask questions Celeste felt bad about her feelings and was embaressed to say that she was interested in a taken man.

Karen was shocked and worried about Celeste at the same time.  What was Celeste to do?  She wanted to be with him desperatly, or at least tell him how she felt.

Karen suggested that going down that path would lead to drama.  The two then picked flowers in the park and moved on to Celeste's place for coffee.
After talking about her situation over coffee Karen asked Celeste what her final dissison was and how will she take action?
Celeste told her that she was going to tell Rich how she feels and that she wants to be with him.
Karen hugged Celeste and wished her luck with what she was about to do.  Celeste was grateful that Karen  supported her no matter what she chose to do.
That night Celeste was having cold feet about telling Rich the next day.  Can she go though it?

Chapter 1.2: You Will Meet a Talk Dark Stranger

Last time:  Celeste—new in starlight Shores—is trying to find a job, friends and love.  She had just finished talking to Seth, a man she thinks might make a great legacy mate.

The women in yellow—Karen, a friendly acquittance of Celeste—approches her after she had finished exchanging numbers with Seth and said farewell.

To Celeste's surprise Karen came over to tell her that her new found interest, Seth, has been flirting with Holly Robins lately and getting involved with him might be messy.

Celeste thanked Karen for giving her the heads up about Seth, who is apparently a love rat.  Celeste is pleased that she met someone that she can trust in her new town.

That night, after returning home, Celeste decide to start to touch up on her creative skills if she was going to go ahead with finding a job in the Architectural career.

While her love life had hit a snag, her career was still in its beginning.  She hit up the newspaper as soon as it hit her doorstep and found in the job section: APPRENTICE ARCHITECT WANTED.  She rang up the number attached and she was to start the next day.

Celeste thought of her career not as an architect but a house stylist or a interior designer.  She has a natural flare for decorating houses.

She was so excited about her new found job that she rang up her new friend Karen and told her all about it.  She was very happy for Celeste.

That night she couldn't stop thinking about her new job that she would be starting the next morning.

Celeste's very first job just had to be for the richest people in town the Buckshots. She was so nervous and couldn't believe that they assigned her this job first.

Madeline Buckshot, her client, didn't like the job that she did.  But, that's okay, Celeste thought,  her dodgy lip injections looked horrible, and her cow skin vet was just as cringe worthy.  All she could do was try again at the next job.

Her next job for the day was for a client called Mitch Lee. He wanted new doors and windows in his house.

Mr Lee was grateful for the work Celeste did, but was not over the moon about her designing.  At least she was improving, she thought.

While her career was on the rise, Celeste's house was also beginning to expand.

That night Celeste went out on the town, hoping to meet some new people and hopefully Mr Right.

She jumped up and had a go at the karaoke that was going on in the club.

But unfortunately, she did not impress.

Later on in the night the owner of the club stepped Celeste aside and asked her if she was the architectthat redecorated Mitch Lee's house that day.  She told him she was.

He mentioned to Celeste that Dr Lee recommended her and that one of his rich clients that frequently comes in to the club needed an architect. Celeste thought it was a great opportunity to improve in her career and agree to meet with this client.

Celeste was about to head home as it was pretty late, until she saw a man sitting at the local ice-creamery and was drawn to him instantly, even though she wasn't a big fan of blonds.

Celeste wasn't scared to approach the man and greeted him straight away.  His name was Carl McMurphy.  Melonie Buckshot, Celeste's bitchy client, is ironically in the background snubbing Celeste.  Celeste ignored her.

Carl was a great person to chat to.  He was really interested in her line of work.  He was a successful proprietor himself.

His favourite colour was also Spice Brown like hers.  During this conversation Celeste also discovered that Carl was friendly in his nature.

Celeste built up enough courage to ask if he was single and what his star sign was.  He was single and a Pieces, which Celeste really liked.

All of a sudden Carl had an important fishing trip to attend and just up and left.

Celeste and her neurotic self had a melt down.  She never got his number.

Did she just let the man of her dreams slip out of her hands?

Chapter 1.1: Dazed and Confused

Celeste Silverset—an 18-year-old girl from a small town—is finally moving to the town she had always set her sights on: Starlight Shores.

Celeste is an artsy alternative Virgo, who is filled with creative flare and bravery.  She enjoys taking photos on a beautiful day and flirting with the local town folk, but can sometimes be neurotic.

Her favourite colour is obviously black and enjoys independently produced music while eating her favourite dish: sushi.

Her mission as a young adult is to start her legacy.  Firstly, and for mostly, she needs a house.

With only $16, 500 to her name Celeste needed to find the perfect block of land to build her first home.  She found one along the hills of Starlight Shore that was 40x40—the perfect legacy size.  She bought the land for $3,200 and built on is straight away.

Above it the cosy house she built for herself with her remaining money, also buying essential items.
The décor inside Celeste’s house fits her personality perfectly as she loves red walls, retro tiles and can’t live without zebra print.
The next thing that Celeste needs to do to start her legacy family is find a mate. She is looking for one that has many of the same interests as her, and a tattoo wouldn’t hurt his chances.

One of the reasons why Celeste thought that Starlight Shores was the perfect place to start her legacy was because it bought many different opportunities, job wise.

While she always needed to keep her eye out for the perfect mate Celeste also needed a job.  She thought that going down to the local festival area would introduce her to some new people and the chance of scoring a job.

The area was beautiful.  Then and there she decided that she would come to shows as often as she could.  She also noticed a woman in yellow sitting there by herself—the perfect opportunity to introduce herself and maybe ask is there were any jobs going around.

The woman in yellow’s name is Karen Kerman and her and Celeste hit is off right away.

Karen was thrilled that Celeste approached her as she has only been in town a shot while herself.

Even though she is also quite new to town Celeste asked Karen if there were any jobs going around.

Sadly, she wasn’t aware of anything at the moment.  Celeste thanked her and went on her way.  She hoped all the other people in town were as nice as Karen was.

Celeste approached Luther Merrell next, asking him also if he knew of any jobs.

This time she hit a bit of luck. Luther told Celeste that there are jobs going in the Architectural career.  Perfect she thought.  She decided to look in tomorrow’s newspaper on more information.

Even though Celeste had finally got the information she wanted she kept her options opened about Luther being her mate and started to ask him questions.  Who knows he could be her perfect mate.  She started with art and painting …

… Which, he enjoys!

She then asked about sushi … but that was a bust.

Celeste didn’t want to waste the nice day at in the nice area of town so she decided to have lunch there.

While eating hotdogs at the table Celeste notice a good looking man in the distance.

She cleaned up the mustard on her face and raced right over.

The man’s name was Seth Monroe.  Celeste introduced herself and how she was new in town.

Celeste and Seth chatted for a while about everything.  He was even a Sagittarius, which is compatible with Celeste—who is a Virgo.

Celeste even tried flirting with him, and he flirted right back.

So far, things were looking great with Seth.  She felt like they hit if off great.  She even gave him her number.  But could she have found her mate on her first day in town?
