Chapter 1.5: Nine Months

Last Time: Celeste and Rich became an item and spent the night together.

Celeste was vomiting up a storm for the next few days, she wondered what she must have had ate for her to feel like this.

It wasn't until the next day that Celeste realised that she was pregnant and Rich was the father.  She hoped for a baby boy.

She called up Karen straight away to tell her the good news, she was thrilled for her friend and said she would help with anything Celeste needed.  Now all she needed to do was tell Rich.

Celeste instantly went into her mother roll, she know felt the need to clean her house to the best of her ability before the baby came.

She was still flourishing in her career now being promoted to a Feng Shui Fiend (whatever that means!)

She waited and waited for Rich to come over after he finished work for the day.  She spent hours looking out the window thinking about what was going to happen.

He finally made it over, Celeste went straight outside to greet him.  Celeste grabbed his hands and announced that she had to tell him something.

Rich wondered what it could be, although he did notice the change in her attire.  She then finally uttered that she was preggers.

Luckily, Rich took it well and was happy with the news.  Celeste was glad that he took it the right way, she didn't know what she would do if he didn't.

On to her next announcement, Celeste suggested that Rich move in since she wanted him involved with her pregnancy as much as he could and be there for her when she needed him.

Rich agreed and he planned on moving in the next day.  Finally, Celeste felt like she was on the right track with her legacy, and was on the road to fulfilling all her wishes.

That night Celeste felt so comfortable in her life and couldn't believe where she was in her life: currently pregnant and in a happy relationship.

The new addition to the family will be here soon and preparation needed to happen before he or she arrived.

Celeste want into labour a few weeks early and was at home by herself when it happened.  She thought Rich was home but when we woke up he wasn't there in bed with her.

 It was a fairly quick labour but the birth was overshadowed with tension between Celeste and Rich. Celeste wasn't happy with him and found it hard to believe that his explanation, apparently he  went for a late night run because he couldn't sleep.  Celeste found it hard to believe him since he was not in this athletic clothes.

Celeste gave birth to a 6 pound 4 baby girl.  She named her Greta.  Greta was born an eccentric virtuoso.

Everyday since Greta was born Rich finished work early and went straight home to take over from the babysitter, Celeste would always be home a few hours later.  While Celeste wasn't home he got into the habit of ringing up his old flame Mercedes May.

Sometimes she would even come over...

...and sometimes they would embrace.

One day Celeste came home to find that Greta had a dirty diaper, hadn't been fed and wanted her parents.  Rich meanwhile was in bed with his headphones on.

Celeste was not happy at all and told Rich that he had better shape up since he was a lazy father.  He agreed he would try harder.

It was a  beautiful sunny day in Starlight Shores and Celeste thought it would be a chance for her to take Greta out to the park and introduce her to nature.

She asked Rich to come on the family outing with her but he declined.  He needed to workout. And a workout is what he got...

...with Mercedes May.

Rich couldn't believe that Celeste came home before she said she would.  He was caught right in the middle of the act.  His face was priceless.

Celeste didn't say a word, she just stared at him in disappointment.  Rich tried defending himself saying that Celeste was never home and he never wanted any of this anyway.

Celeste ran out of the room.  Rich followed while he dressed himself, pleading for her to not kick him out.

He put on the puppy dog eyes, but they were not fooling Celeste today, she was done with him.

Celeste broke up with Rich then and there.  She learnt a huge lesson: never get involved with a cheater, they will only do it to you too.

Mercedes tried to put her 2 cents into the conversation but Celeste just told her what she thought of her (a huge slut), and told her to get out of her bed and leave her house before she removed her herself.

Rich moved out that day.  He took one last look at what he ruined and left without a trace.
